FOVision is a vision system designed to enable a robot to pick randomly stacked 3D objects. This vision system consists of an RGBD vision sensor and a computer running advanced AI-based object detection and pose estimation algorithm. FOVision can be integrated with a variety of robot manipulators and turn them into  random bin picking robot systems. FOVision’s AI method eliminated the need for having the CAD model of the target object. FOVision incorporated a simulation-based automatic annotation generation scheme that significantly reduces image labeling time. FOVision will enable robots to pick up various 3D objects and interact with environment in the near future.
